ADHD and meetings

Do you find yourself sitting in meetings listening to people drone on unnecessarily about boring stuff that not only wastes your time, but amps up your anxiety because you’ve already got too much to do?

Almost no one loves meetings. But for those of us with ADHD, meetings—especially poorly run meetings—can be nothing short of torture.

Well-run meetings, on the other hand, can actually be a helpful antidote to our tendency to multi-task (which of course we can’t actually do).

In this episode, we talk about several key concepts for ADHD and meetings, such as how to:

  • Get out of more unnecessary meetings
  • Reduce the time suck, inefficiency, and energy drain
  • Have the right number of meetings with the right people for the right length of time
  • Run ADHD-friendly meetings
  • And more!
