Easy Gets Done with ADHD

People with ADHD have a natural tendency to make things more complicated than necessary.

We enjoy creating systems that are way complicated or else need precise steps that we need to complete regularly. If we skip a day, the whole system goes haywire. Impossible processes with about a 5% success rate.

Why do we do this to ourselves? Why do we set ourselves up for almost guaranteed failure?

Bottom line – we create these complicated systems because we get a dopamine rush. We have imaginative brains and it’s exciting to come up with a solution that’s creative and out of the box.

And it feels really good on the rare times that we succeed.

But you know what feels REALLY GOOD – succeeding most of the time. (It’s not realistic to expect perfect with ADHD. Most of the time is our goal.)

Which is why I live by the ADHD mantra: Easy gets done. I suggest you try it, too.

Tune into Episode 190 of Kick Some ADHD: Easy Gets Done to learn more about this mindset and the easy steps to easily implement this in your life so you can easily get things done.
