Are you living clutter free with ADHD?
Let’s play a game to decide. Take a second and look up from your screen.
What do you see? Piles of paper and a jumble of junk?
Think about what’s lurking behind your closed closets, drawers, and doors?
What would be your first thought if I were to appear on your doorstep unannounced? “Hey, it’s Dana!” Or, “Oh no, she’ll see what a mess it is!”
How often do you fret about clutter? Weekly? Daily? Hourly? Constantly?
Now, give me an honest answer to to decide if you’re living clutter free:
Do you have a problem with clutter?
If you don’t, I’m thrilled. I want everyone with ADHD to live clutter free!
If clutter is a problem for you, please, don’t be ashamed. That’s not my goal.
My goal is to give you the skills and awareness to do something about the clutter.
You see, I’m no stranger to clutter. I’ve battled it myself. And, I know, as an expert ADHD coach, that clutter is one of ADHD’s most destructive symptoms.
Clutter causes shame, chaos, confusion, frustration, conflict, and guilt. Clutter makes you late. Hopeless. Clutter isolates you. Blocks your potential.
Clutter also makes it impossible to get organized. How can you figure out the best place to keep stuff if you’ve got too much stuff to keep?
Enough negativity. Let’s do something about it, shall we?
